Episode: A Downeast Smile-In: The Farm

Ayuh. Marshall Dodge didn't invent Maine humor but he certainly helped to bring it into the mainstream. In 1958 he, along with partner Robert Bryan, created the now classic "Bert and I" albums that popularized the dry wit and quirkiness of Maine humor. In these rarely seen specials from 1970, Dodge brings many of these tales to life. Includes footage of the humorist performing to a live audience.
